Where Awakening Begins

Continued from yesterday…

If, for now, we accept Paul’s writings, then we must conclude that the mind is not conscious of the oneness of all life. Unaware of love as the unifying energy of the universe, it is lost in fear’s illusion. We are asleep and unconscious of our true self and thus under the grip of disillusioned dreams, nightmares, and false perceptions.

So as we explored earlier, the mind is therefore not where awakening begins. Instead, we must wake up to the divine reality, beyond our intellect, in our spirit—the true essence of our being.

The good news is that when you are aware of this transcending, beautiful, and authentic oneness with the Ground of Being, transformation occurs in your mind. It aligns with your true self. New thoughts, feelings, and attitudes that create life, beauty, and happiness naturally emerge.
