The Foundation of Happiness

by Jun 16, 2021Theme: Live With Purpose

What you do in life is not something you have to figure out, which is rooted in fear and leads to stress and ultimately more suffering. But when you are aware of the divine presence within you, your function will, at some point, even if it takes some time, show up as an idea to explore or a passion to follow.

As you embark on your career, your happiness and fulfillment are not found in the achievement of your mission. But in living each moment aware of a deep sense of peace and love. For example, as I’m writing this, the goal is to help people. Yet, my sense of satisfaction and enjoyment is not in the goal but the actual writing of each word. I’m aware of the divine presence, which is my purpose.

With every new word that I write, I’m living my purpose. Once I have finished writing, what I do will change, but my purpose stays the same: to remain in that state of awareness of love, and for that presence to shine through whatever I do. What you do then is never as important as who you are because your doing follows your being.
