The Consequence of The Illusion of Separation

by Sep 21, 2021Theme: The Illusion Of Knowledge Of Good And Evil

Continued from yesterday…

Once Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the illusion of separation was almost complete. A shift of consciousness had occurred. Awareness of spirit had turned to intellectual reasoning based on the five senses. The transference from the love-union consciousness to the fear-self perception would have an immediate impact.

It began with shame. Adam and Eve suddenly noticed their nakedness and made clothes out of fig leaves to cover up. What else could be expected? When you perceive myself as separate, it summons fear that you may not be good enough. The mind, at least subconsciously, may conclude:

“Don’t let anyone see your failures, weaknesses, and insecurities. You are naked and need something to hide behind. Find something that will make you appear special and superior to others. That way you will stand out in the crowd.”

With shame came fear in the Garden of Eden. God was walking in the Garden, and Adam and Eve hid among the trees, for they were afraid of God.

To be continued tomorrow…
