Where Are You…In Your Body?

Where are you in your body? You are aware that you are, but where does that awareness begin and where does it come from? First off, science doesn’t have good answers to these questions. Dr. Lanza reasons that:
“Nothing in modern physics explains how a group of molecules in your brain create consciousness…Nothing in science can explain how consciousness arose from matter…The beauty of a sunset, the miracle of falling in love, the taste of a delicious meal—these are all mysteries to modern science.”

Who Are You?

Who are you? At first glance, you are a body—pretty gory on the inside, but beautiful on the outside. Science tells us all kinds of exciting things about your body. First off, it contains about 60 percent water, unless you are really lean and fit, in which case you may only contain 50 percent water. Most of the water in your body is contained inside your cells and is essential for your cells to live.
